The neighbourhood

As Lindholmshamnen grows, the neighbourhood is fast becoming the natural meeting point for residents and visitors alike. There are restaurants, cafés and gyms, all in a fabulous location close to the water and with excellent connections. And in addition to its residents, Lindholmen and its former docklands are also home to world-leading businesses in the fields of media, innovation, automotive R&D and IT.

Nature as your neighbour

If you like to be out in the fresh air there are plenty of walking trails in the nearby parks and green spaces. And if you enjoy going for a run, Keillers Park and Ramberget with their views across Gothenburg are right close by. Just a few kilometres away beckons the huge Hisingen Park, a popular place for downhill running and biking.

Leafy parks meet modern technology

Next to the Dockan quarter in Lindholmshamnen is the temporary Regnbågsparken between Regnbågsgatan and Götaverksgatan. As the area develops, two permanent parks will be built there – Science Play and Maskinparken. Science Play will be a children’s playground planned for completion at the end of 2020 and located next to the Radisson Riverside hotel.

Maskinparken will be completed one year later as a green space with trees, flowers and shrubberies. It will be a place to enjoy the sun, eat a picnic or kick a ball around.
